| Obverse description | The quartered coat of arms of Niue occupies the central field, surmounted by the St. Edward's Crown, and flanked on either side by a sprig of fern rendered in fine relief. The shield displays traditional Niuean heraldic charges including the Southern Cross stars, sailing vessels, a conch shell, and a torch, all executed with considerable detail.
