Obverse lettering ELIZABETH II ∙ NIUE ISLAND 5 DOLLARS 2016 CM
Reverse description High-relief sculptural depiction of the coronation of Charles IV as King of the Romans, showing a standing archbishop placing the crown upon the seated Charles IV, who holds an orb and sceptre, rendered in a medallic style inspired by medieval artistic sources. The figures occupy the left and central portions of the reverse against a deeply mirrored proof field. The curved legend 'KAREL IV. A ÚSPĚCHY' arcs along the left rim, while 'KORUNOVACE ŘÍMSKÝM KRÁLEM' continues along the upper right rim, all in Latin-script Czech. The composition is the work of engraver Michal Vitanovský and exemplifies the Czech Mint's tradition of finely detailed historical commemorative issues.
