The Church of All Saints at Jordanville, New York — home to Holy Trinity Monastery, the largest Russian Orthodox monastery in North America — became a point of cultural survival for the post-revolutionary Russian diaspora. Founded by émigré monks in the 1930s, the monastery preserved liturgical traditions and printed religious texts that were suppressed inside the Soviet Union for decades.
Cook Islands became a prolific issuer of themed silver rounds in the 2000s, producing dozens of religious architecture pieces under KM numbers that run well into the thousands. Collector demand rather than domestic circulation drove the series entirely.
