| Obverse description | Within a rectangular field with rounded corners, the upper portion bears the incuse legend '100g COIN / FINE SILVER / .9999' in three lines. Below this, a recessed circular cartouche displays the diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by the legend 'ELIZABETH II' to the left, '5 DOLLARS' at the top, 'COOK ISLANDS' to the right, and the date '2015' at the base of the cartouche.
