Additional information

Tuvalu has no meaningful connection to the American bald eagle — this is a bullion issue produced under Tuvalu's licensing arrangements with the Perth Mint, which has issued dozens of similarly themed coins exploiting the country's Commonwealth mint-agreement status to target foreign collector markets. The bald eagle was delisted from the U.S. Endangered Species Act in 2007 after population recovery from the DDT-driven collapse of the mid-20th century.
