The Adam and Eve series from the Solomon Islands Central Bank is one of several dozen licensed bullion and collector programs that small Pacific island nations have issued through European minting intermediaries — in this case almost certainly struck by a private European mint and issued under Solomon Islands authority largely as a licensing arrangement rather than a domestic monetary decision. The islands themselves have never had meaningful silver production or a domestic minting facility.
The KM# 1021 assignment places it within the broader Krause enumeration of modern Solomon Islands issues, which by 2020 numbered well into the hundreds of commemorative types.
