Obverse description High-relief effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace, as rendered by engraver Jody Clark for the sixth definitive portrait. The truncation is broad and realistically modelled, with fine detail in the hair and jewellery. The legend ELIZABETH II curves along the upper left field, AUSTRALIA 2020 along the upper right, and 5 DOLLARS arcs along the lower field, all separated by small raised dots. The engraver's initials JC appear at the lower right of the truncation.
