Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of three kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae) perched together on a diagonal branch, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. Two birds face left while the third, positioned to the right, faces right, their plumage meticulously engraved with textured feathering. The arc legend DISCOVER AUSTRALIA appears along the upper periphery, with the date 2006 inscribed in the lower left field. Along the lower arc, the inscriptions KOOKABURRA 1/25oz. 9999 GOLD are separated by the Perth Mint's P mintmark, flanked by the engraver's initials WP. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border.
