Additional information

The AVRO 504K was the aircraft that transformed Australian military aviation — not through combat, but through instruction. Hundreds of Australian pilots trained on the type during and after World War I, and the Australian Flying Corps operated 504Ks well into the 1920s. This issue is part of the Royal Australian Mint's "Masterpieces in Silver" collector series, which reproduced historic Australian designs at enhanced detail on fine silver.
