Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, rendered in fine relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The portrait, the fourth definitive effigy of the Queen used on Australian coinage, was modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials 'IRB' appear in small capitals beneath the truncation of the neck. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper left rim, while 'AUSTRALIA' and the date '2007' continue along the right rim in evenly spaced Latin capitals.
