| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Liberia at center, depicting a shield with a sailing ship above the sea, a plough and a spade in the field, and a dove in flight, supported by two doves on either side, all above a scroll bearing the national motto. The arms are encircled by the legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA and THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE in an inner ring. The word MILLENNIUM arcs prominently around the outer field in large raised letters, with the date 2000 appearing at the bottom, flanked by decorative dots. |
