Obverse description The central field features the Public Seal of Niue, a crowned circular badge displaying traditional Niuean motifs including foliage and geometric patterning, surmounted by a royal crown, with the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE around the inner circle and the mottoes ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI on a scroll below. Surrounding the central seal, the field is densely populated in high relief with an array of historical weapons including battleaxes, swords, spears, halberds, a flail, and a shield, arranged in a radiating composition evoking the series theme. The outer legend reads LEGENDARY WARRIORS arching above, with the inscription FINE SILVER 2026 FIVE DOLLARS 2oz 999 distributed around the lower portion of the rim.

Reverse description A detailed high-relief effigy of William Wallace dominates the central field, depicted as a commanding warrior with long flowing hair, wearing a tartan plaid and riveted body armour with selective gold gilding on his breastplate, sword hilt, and bracer. He holds a large two-handed broadsword, also gilt, pointing downward in the foreground. Behind him, a group of Scottish warriors in period attire animate the scene, one raising a sword aloft, set against a panoramic background of a Scottish highland castle, loch, rolling hills, and medieval stone buildings rendered in fine detail. The legend WILLIAM WALLACE arches across the upper field in bold lettering.
