| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Public Seal of Niue at centre, depicting a stylised native plant motif within a circular medallion, encircled by a decorative chain of interlocking oval links. Surmounting the seal is the royal crown. Two crossed traditional Polynesian spears appear below the seal. The legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE arcs above the central device, with the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed beneath it. The denomination 5 DOLLARS and the date 2023 are rendered in large characters along the lower field, flanked by the Czech Mint monogram CM. A beaded inner border frames the entire composition. |
