| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, sculpted in high relief against a deeply recessed field decorated with concentric engine-turned rings that create a dramatic optical effect. The portrait, modelled by Martin Jennings and initialled 'DT' at the truncation, depicts the King in contemporary dress with a suit collar visible at the neck.
