Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of King Charles III occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The effigy is attributed to engraver Dominique Thiébaut, whose initials 'DT' appear below the truncation. Surrounding the portrait is an ornate border of interlocking geometric and diamond-shaped patterns inspired by traditional Tokelauan weaving motifs. The curved legend 'CHARLES III' arcs along the upper left, 'TOKELAU' and '2024' along the upper right, and 'FIVE DOLLARS 1 OZ .999 SILVER' along the lower portion of the coin, all in raised Latin characters.

Reverse description Central design featuring a stylized left-facing female bust representing Virgo, her elaborate hair adorned with intricate ornamental patterns combining swirling, geometric, and Celtic-inspired relief work. Above the central motif, the Virgo astrological glyph (♍) appears alongside the inscription 'VIRGO' in the upper field. The broad outer border is decorated with all twelve astrological symbols arranged at equal intervals around the circumference, rendered in a shallow but crisp relief against the flat annular band, creating a striking contrast with the deeply sculpted central design.
