Additional information

Tužme se! — "Let us mourn!" — was the rallying cry of the Croatian national revival movement of the 1840s, a period of intense cultural and political awakening against Hungarian administrative dominance within the Habsburg Empire. The phrase is drawn from the patriotic poem by Ivan Mažuranić, whose literary output became foundational to Croatian national identity. Niue has become the dominant issuer of boutique gold fractionals for the collector market precisely because it carries no domestic coin-using population — its monetary authority exists entirely to serve numismatic programs.
