Reverse description The reverse presents a highly detailed, deeply struck scene set in an ornate Renaissance-style garden courtyard. At centre, a young woman dressed in a short skirt and a warrior figure — identifiable as Geralt of Rivia from Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher saga — face one another across an elaborate stone fountain basin, each resting their hands upon a pair of crossed swords rendered in selective gold colour application. Behind them, a colonnaded palazzo facade recedes in perspective, with a dancing female figure — coloured in pink — poised atop the fountain's upper tier, and a serving woman visible to the left among flowering garden terraces. The upper legend reads ANDRZEJ SAPKOWSKI to the left and SEASON OF STORMS to the right, while along the lower arc the stylised gothic inscription THE Witcher BOOK SERIES serves as the primary title legend.

Additional information

Niue has served as a licensing vehicle for third-party coin programs since the 1990s, with the New Zealand territory's name appearing on issues it has no hand in designing or distributing. This piece is part of the "Season of Storms" bullion-adjacent series issued under that arrangement, with Charles III's effigy satisfying the Commonwealth portrait requirement introduced after Elizabeth II's death in September 2022.
