| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicted as a crowned heraldic device surmounted by a royal crown and encircled by a wreath of leaves, with crossed paddles below and a scroll bearing the mottoes ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI. The background field on either side of the central device is decorated with a honeycomb pattern of raised hexagonal cells in varying relief. The denomination legend 5 DOLLARS appears along the upper rim, while the series title GOLD BEE is inscribed along the lower rim. The purity marks AU 999 appear to the left of the seal, with a mint mark to the right, and the date 2026 is positioned below the seal.
