Obverse description The obverse features an elaborate Baroque-style heraldic composition centered on a large shield bearing the crowned Public Seal of Niue, flanked by ornate acanthus-leaf scrollwork and voluminous foliate cartouche elements. A ribbon banner above the shield reads FINE SILVER with the mintmaster initials TS at center, while the legend BUSHIDO arcs along the upper periphery and 5 DOLLARS along the lower. To the left, the purity designation AG 999 is inscribed vertically, and to the right, 2 OZ appears in a similar vertical orientation. The date 2024 is displayed on a scroll beneath the shield, and the denomination and specifications complete the field in a richly textured, crosshatched background.
