Obverse description The obverse of this antiqued rectangular silver bar-coin features a theatrical design evoking a stage setting, with draped curtains rendered in deeply struck relief flanking the central field on either side. At center, the Public Seal of Niue is displayed within an oval cartouche surmounted by a royal crown, encircled by a wreath of stylized foliage and diamond ornaments. Below the seal, two crossed traditional spears are depicted, with a scroll bearing the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination 5 DOLLARS appears in raised lettering along the upper border, and the date 2024 is inscribed along the lower border; the mint mark and fineness designation Ag 999 appear discreetly in the lower central field.
