Reverse description Elaborate high-relief composition depicting all twelve animals of the Chinese lunar zodiac arranged radially around a central octagonal Bagua (Eight Trigrams) symbol enclosing a yin-yang motif. Each of the twelve zodiac animals — Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig — is rendered in vivid selective coloring against an antiqued silver background of scrolling clouds, bamboo, and rocky landscape elements. The coloring is particularly intense on the Tiger, Dragon, Snake, Rabbit, Rooster, and Pig, creating a striking contrast with the uncolored Horse, Goat, Monkey, Dog, and Ox. The engraver's initials SR appear in the lower right field.
