Reverse description The reverse features a central motif of two open hands cupped together, rendered in frosted relief against a mirror-polished field, cradling a gilt heart at their base from which grows a stylised plant with leaves and a heart-shaped bud, symbolising compassion and generosity. The denomination $5 appears in bold relief at the upper centre of the field. The legend CHARITY WORK IN SINGAPORE curves along the upper periphery in Latin capitals, while the slogans We Care and We Share are inscribed in flowing script to the left and lower centre of the field respectively, completing the humanitarian theme of the issue.
