| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green and orange on a white ground, with an intricate guilloche underprint covering the left and right margins. At upper left, the circular vignette of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe seal encloses a Zimbabwe Bird motif, surrounded by the bank's name. The denomination numeral '5' appears at each corner, and the central text panel carries the bearer cheque obligation legend together with the issue date and expiry date. A facsimile signature of the Governor appears at lower left beneath the seal. |
