Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, depicted with her characteristic draped bust, pearl necklace, and drop earring, as modelled by Raphael David Maklouf. The Queen wears the George IV State Diadem, rendered in fine detail against a deeply mirrored proof field. The circular legend COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1991 appears at the base, all within a beaded border.
