Additional information

Singapore hosted the 7th Southeast Asian Peninsular Games in August and September 1973, the first time the multi-sport event was held in the city-state. The SEAP Games were rebranded the Southeast Asian Games just two years later in 1975, making this issue one of the last to carry the older regional designation before the organization formally expanded its membership criteria.
