Obverse description Purple intaglio-printed note with a central vignette of a sailing ship at anchor in a harbour to the left, with a palm tree and a second sailing vessel in the background at right. Denomination and issuer title appear in ornate letterpress lettering, with guilloche underprint throughout. The date and printer's imprint are rendered in the lower portion of the note.
