| Obverse description | Draped bust of Marianne facing right, wearing a winged helmet adorned with wheat ears, oak leaves, and olive branches — emblematic of the French Republic. Her hair is rendered in fine parallel striations beneath the laurel and grain wreath. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE arcs around the upper periphery, while the engraver's signature MORLON appears in small capitals at the lower left of the field.
