| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription within an open wreath of leafy olive branches tied at the base, proclaiming the Hafizy coinage and the half-rial denomination. A prominent six-pointed star (Seal of Solomon) crowns the composition at the top, serving as the dynastic emblem of the Alaouite Sultanate. The wreath branches extend symmetrically on either side, their tips meeting beneath the inscription to frame the design.
