Reverse description Central field dominated by a large, boldly struck six-pointed star (Seal of Solomon) formed by two interlaced equilateral triangles, enclosing a smaller circular medallion at centre containing a second six-pointed star with a central pellet. The triangular segments between the points of the large star are filled with flowing Arabic calligraphy in Maghrebi script and floral ornamental motifs. A wide outer border carries a continuous Arabic legend in Maghrebi script arranged in the six trapezoidal panels defined by the points of the star, reading the royal titles and mint information. The composition is characteristic of the Paris Mint-struck coinage of Sultan Abd al-Aziz.
