| Reverse description | Central design features a high-relief depiction of the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) of Petra carved into a rocky sandstone cliff face, rendered with exceptional sculptural detail to evoke the monument's dramatic rose-red setting. To the lower left of centre, a smaller outline engraving of the Treasury façade appears in the field. The Latin legend ONE OF THE NEW SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD arcs along the upper periphery, with the name PETRA inscribed to the middle left in the field. Arabic text البَتراء إحدى عجَائب الدنيَا السَّبع الجَديدة appears along the right and lower border, providing the Arabic equivalent of the commemorative inscription. |
