Obverse description Left vignette carries a profile portrait of Miloš Obilić, the medieval Serbian knight, rendered in intaglio in a classical style with helmet and armour, set against a fine guilloche underprint in blue. The central field bears the bank title in Cyrillic, the denomination ПЕТ ДИНАРА in bold letterpress, the date 3-2-1917, and two manuscript signatures beneath the titles Члан Управе and Гувернер. Numeral 5 appears in dark blue at lower left and lower right, with serial number and series prefix in the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in blue on a guilloche underprint ground. At upper centre, the French-language bank title BANQUE NATIONALE PRIVILÉGIÉE DU ROYAUME DE SERBIE is set within a panel. The denomination CINQ DINARS is printed in large bold letters at centre, with the numeral 5 in an ornamental cartouche below. To the upper right, the royal coat of arms of Serbia is rendered in fine intaglio detail beneath a crown. Two large allegorical vignettes flank the composition at lower left and lower right, representing agricultural abundance with fruits, grain sheaves, a sickle, and a basket of produce. Two octagonal blank reserve areas appear at left and upper left.
