Reverse description The reverse is centred on a large intaglio numeral '5' set within an ornate circular guilloche medallion, around which the names of the six Yugoslav constituent republics are inscribed in a ring. Flanking the medallion on each side are dark cartouches bearing the denomination in multiple scripts — Cyrillic and Latin — reading ПЕТ ДИНАРА / PET DINARJEV to the left and PET DINARA / ПЕТ ДИНАРИ to the right. The country name SOCIJALISTIČKA FEDERATIVNA REPUBLIKA JUGOSLAVIJA is printed in three languages — Latin, Cyrillic, and Slovene — in a vertical column to the far right, with a fine orange and green guilloche underprint covering the entire field.
