Obverse description The German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) is displayed prominently in the center of the field, rendered in high relief with wings spread and head turned to the right. The eagle's breast bears a shield with a central stripe, and its talons are open. The circular legend BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 DEUTSCHE MARK is inscribed along the lower arc. The date 1967 flanks the numeral 5 at the base of the eagle, with the Stuttgart mint mark F appearing below the date to the right. The entire design is framed by a continuous inner border of beads.
