Reverse description A highly detailed relief depiction of the Crown of Scotland, one of the Honours of Scotland, occupies the central field. The crown features an orb surmounted by a cross pattée at its apex, with a small inset sapphire gemstone set at the base of the cross, ornate fleur-de-lis and strawberry-leaf embellishments along the band, and ermine lining rendered in fine relief. The circumferential legend THE CROWN JEWELS arcs around the upper field, and THE CROWN OF SCOTLAND appears in the lower field, both separated by raised dot stops.
