| Obverse description | Within the nickel silver centre, a finely detailed high-relief depiction of a Brown Boobook (Ninox scutulata) in flight with wings fully spread, talons extended toward a butterfly in the lower right field, and bare tree branches visible in the upper background. The engraver's monogram МВ (MasterVision) appears in the left field near the bird. The brass outer ring bears the Cyrillic legend ИГЛОНОГАЯ СОВА along the upper arc and the Latin binomial Ninox scutulata along the lower arc, separated by two raised bullet points. |
