| Obverse description | Left-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria, her hair swept back and gathered into an ornate chignon adorned with a floral spray, wearing a jewelled diadem across the forehead. The effigy is set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a distinctive Greek key (meander) border pattern. The legend VICTORIA appears in the upper field and QUEEN in the lower field, both separated from the border ornament by a fine beaded rim. |
