Reverse description Two white rhinoceroses face each other in a dramatic confrontational pose, rendered in finely detailed high relief against a mirror-polished field, with a stylised rocky terrain indicated by undulating lines in the lower exergue. The denomination numeral 5 and the cent symbol c are boldly inscribed in the upper field between the animals, superimposed over the composition. The engraver's initials MJS are incused discretely at lower right within the design.
