Obverse description The national coat of arms of the Republic of Namibia occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported by two oryx antelopes rampant, surmounted by an African fish eagle with wings displayed. A scroll beneath the supporters bears the national motto in three panels: UNITY, LIBERTY, and JUSTICE. Reverse description A naturalistically rendered Cape Horse Mackerel (Trachurus capensis) is depicted in profile at centre, oriented to the left.
