Obverse description Tiaraed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, rendered in the fourth portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, with finely detailed hair and jewelled tiara. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the left field and 'COOK ISLANDS' along the right, both in raised Latin lettering following the coin's rim. The date '2000' appears in the lower exergue beneath the truncation of the bust.
