The motif on the reverse, by British artist G. E. Kruger-Gray, depicts the iconic beaver seen from the left, on a stone surrounded by water. The beaver and water are colored in natural shades of brown and blue. The vintage `2016`, the word `CANADA` and the face value `5 CENTS` are engraved on the reverse.
