Reverse description Central field displays the crowned oval shield of Spain bearing the quartered arms of Castile, León, Aragón, and Navarre, with the Granada pomegranate in base and a small escutcheon of the Bourbon fleur-de-lis at fess point. The shield is surmounted by an elaborate royal crown and flanked symmetrically by laurel and oak branches tied at the base, all within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential legend REINA DE LAS ESPAÑAS runs along the upper arc, while 5 CENTIMOS DE ESCUDO occupies the lower arc, both separated by small star stops. The entire design is contained within a toothed outer rim.
