| Obverse description | Printed in black letterpress on orange-yellow card stock, the obverse carries the bold sans-serif inscription 'MONEDA TRABAJO' at top, followed by 'BÉTERA' and a row of four dots at centre. The large numeral '5' and the word 'céntimos' occupy the lower portion, together constituting the denomination statement. The card has characteristic rounded corners typical of Spanish Civil War municipal emergency issues. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is otherwise plain orange-yellow card stock, applied with an oval red ink handstamp of the Popular Executive Committee of Bétera ('Comité Ejecutivo Popular de Bétera'), the text of which runs around the perimeter of the oval. The stamp served as the authenticating device for this emergency issue in lieu of more elaborate security features. |
