Reverse description Central denomination numeral and the date 1900 are displayed within a decorative wreath composed of two branches, one of laurel and one of oak, tied at the base. Above the wreath appears the Star of Italy (Stellone d'Italia), a prominent national emblem. The Rome Mint mark 'R' is placed in the exergue below the wreath. The overall design is symmetrical and typical of Italian Umbertine-era coinage.
