Obverse description The obverse features the Imperial Crown of Austria resting upon a cushion or base, depicted in high relief at the center of the field. The crown is elaborately rendered with arched bands, pearled borders, and surmounted by a cross above an orb. The circular legend REGNO LOMBARDO VENETO· arcs around the upper periphery, identifying the issuing territory as the Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia. The mint mark M (for Milan) appears in the lower field beneath the crown device. The overall design is clean and heraldic in character, consistent with Austrian imperial coinage of the early nineteenth century.
