| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Liberty as a classical female effigy, her hair swept upward and adorned with a laurel branch extending behind the head. A ribbon or diadem inscribed LIBERTAD crosses her brow, serving as the central motif identifying the allegorical figure. The circular legend REPÚBLICA DE COLOMBIA arcs around the upper and lateral fields, reading from lower left to upper right. The date is prominently displayed in large numerals along the lower exergual area. A continuous beaded border frames the entire design. |
