Obverse description Mexican national arms occupying the central field, depicting the eagle displayed upon a cactus and devouring a serpent, rendered in low relief on a plain field. A circular legend in Latin script runs along the upper periphery, partially legible due to the worn state of the coin. The overall die workmanship is characteristic of the emergency coinage produced by the Constitutionalist forces during the Mexican Revolution.

Reverse description The reverse field is heavily worn and largely featureless, though remnants of a circular legend in Latin script are visible along the upper rim, consistent with the Constitutionalist Army inscription. The denomination and date, typically presented centrally with the value above the date, are nearly fully obliterated by circulation and die weakness, a characteristic trait of this emergency issue struck under wartime conditions.
