| Obverse description | Green and pink letterpress note with an architectural vignette framed by two ornate columns. The municipal coat of arms of Borba — quartered shield with a fish, castle, and tree — occupies the centre beneath a crown, flanked by scrollwork and the regional inscription CINTRA DO ALEMTEJO in a curved banner. The denomination VALE 5 Cent Vos appears in a ribbon cartouche at the foot, with signature lines for the Treasurer (O Tesoureiro) and the President of the Chamber (O Presidente da C.a) above, and the series letters LD to the right of centre. |
