| Reverse description | The denomination is displayed in three lines at the centre of the field, reading CINCO above the large numeral 5, followed by CENTAVOS DE LEMPIRA below, all enclosed within a plain oval frame. The central motif is framed by a wreath of two symmetrical laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, their leafy sprays extending upward along either side to meet at the top of the oval. A continuous beaded border runs along the entire periphery of the coin. |
