Reverse description Central device depicts the Nicaraguan national emblem in stylized form: a rising sun with radiating rays issuing from behind a range of five volcanoes, set above a body of water, with a Phrygian cap rising at the left side of the elliptical vignette. The design is enclosed within a raised inner circle. The legend EN DIOS CONFIAMOS curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 CENTAVOS DE CORDOBA is distributed around the lower arc of the legend band. A fine dentilated border frames the entire reverse.
