| Obverse description | The obverse depicts the Vytis, the Lithuanian state emblem, rendered as an armoured knight on horseback galloping to the right, bearing a raised sword in his right hand and a shield on his left arm. The legend LIETUVOS to the left and RESPUBLIKA to the right arc along the periphery in Latin characters. Below the horse, a stylised castle emblem appears above the date 1925, flanked on either side by small decorative floral ornaments. The design reflects the work of sculptor and engraver Juozas Zikaras and exhibits a bold, high-relief artistic style characteristic of early Lithuanian Republican coinage. |
